"The Lost Recipe for Happiness" by Barbara O'Neal

If you like a good story with great recipes included then "The Lost Recipe for Happiness" is just the thing for a snowy evening.
Elena Alvarez arrives in the resort town of Aspen, Colorado to become the head chef in a new restaurant owned by handsome movie director Julian Liswood. Elena brings a lot of secrets with her along with her adorably goofy dog Alvin, who is almost human!
Elena was abandoned by her mother and raised by her grandmother. Her life is drastically changed when she is involved in a near fatal car accident along with her "first love" Edwin and her sister Isobel and two other family members. Elena is the only survivor of the car crash and as a result always feels guilty for living when those she loved didn't.
This is the story about how Elena starts a new life and maybe makes peace with the guilt that has haunted her life to date. To tell more would be a shame. Enjoy Elena's story with a hot drink and a tasty snack.
